March 13th

Alright guys! Just in case you didn't see the email, the book club has moved to March 13th.

Book Club Update

Hey everyone! Last night's book club was way fun. Even if you couldn't make it last night, I definitely recommend reading the book anyway.

Rachel is hosting next month, and she picked Divergent. We will all go see the movie together also! We also decided that we are going to change book club to the first WEDNESDAY of the month. So next book club will be on the 5th of March, at Becky Roberts's house at 8pm. 

We will be posting all of this on the blog as well. The blog, other than book club updates, will also hold book recommendations or other bookish thoughts, so feel free to share! For example, last night Rachel and Erin told us about two books they recommend, "The Night Circus" and "The Gone Girl", both of which I will definitely be reading.

By the way, Jackie, do you want to host in April?

Upcoming Bookclub...

 

 

I'm excited for hosting February's book club on Thursday 2/6/14 at 8pm at Roberts'... mark your calendars!

 

I chose 'The Death of Ivan Ilych' By Leo Tolstoy.  It's one of my favorite books.  It's a 'novella, ' so it's not that long. (About 100 pages in paperback)

It's a commentary on the purpose of life as the main character grapples with his coming death.
